What are Fiber Laser Marking, Engraving and Micro Cutting Systems? What does it do?

What is fiber laser marking?

Fiber laser is a type of laser that contains rare elements such as ytterbium, neodymium, dysprosium, paraseodymium and thulium. These elements are related to doped fiber amplifiers, which provide non-continuous light amplification. Raman scattering or four-wave mixing also powers the fiber laser in this way.

What kind of surfaces is fiber laser marking used on?

Fiber Laser marking machines mark stainless steel, steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, gold, silver and similar metals. Apart from these, they are also capable of permanent marking on plastic, leather and rubber materials.

Fiber laser marking machines have power sources called sources and these power sources vary according to the beam power they give. For example, since there is a difference in power between a machine with a 20W laser beam power and a machine with a 100W laser beam power, there will be a difference in speed at the desired marking depth applied to the material. With a 100W laser power, the desired surface depth can be reached much faster than with a 20W laser power. This means that companies with high capacity prefer products with higher
power according to their capacity in order to work quickly and comfortably.

In addition to permanent marking, our fiber laser devices can also be used for cutting silver, gold, copper and brass materials up to 2 mm. Here, the cutting time is longer or shorter depending on the laser power.
